I woke up on a Saturday morning with severe pain and stiffness in my neck. I thought that I must have slept wrong and took an Advil, with no relief. With still no relief on Monday, I called my M.D. I saw her on Wednesday where she ordered an X-Ray and reached for her prescription pad for major pain killers (the kind to which many become addicted!). I chose not to fill that prescription but did have the X-Ray. Her assessment of the X-Ray led her to refer me to a surgeon. I asked to be referred to a chiropractor but she refused!, saying it would be unethical!

I called the surgeon's office and his first available appointment was in two months! I then called Dr. Coffey's office and he saw me the next morning. After twelve days of severe pain and being unable to turn my head, I arrived at Dr. Coffey's office with my X-Rays. After reviewing my X-Rays, he gave me my first adjustment with 50% relief! I saw him 2 days later for adjustment # 2, and 2 days later for adjustment # 3... 99.9 % RELIEF IN 5 DAYS! I then saw him once a week for 3 weeks and now once a month for a tune-up, as he calls it.

For more than a year, I experienced acute back & leg pain, also both hands were effected with arthritis making any task painful. My Medical Doctor prescribed pain medication but was not encouraging that I would be able to function normally again. I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Coffey for over three years and have been having regular adjustments during that time. The reason I started getting adjustments is because I developed a bad case of sciatica after going skiing in Colorado in late November, 2006. Because I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, I knew I needed to remedy this painful issue quickly so I could continue working. After several sessions with Dr. Coffey, my sciatica pain began to subside. Now, more than three years later, I am pleased to report that I have had no incidents of sciatic pain, nor have I had any persistent back, hip or neck problems.
